Recall look-up?

Hi guys.

I bought my bike (2008 FJR, normal clutch) used and would like to know if there is a way to check and see if any recall's had been acomplished.

Can I just call a dealer and run the VIN, or is there a site you guys know that I could check with???

I got a used 2006 a couple of months ago and the dealer was able to check on recalls for me. Mine still needed the additional ground harness recall. They were not able to do the ECU replacement as it is optional if you actually experience the altitude issue. I called Yamaha Canada and they approved the ECU when I said I was heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains. I couldn't find a website but the dealer could run the VIN for recalls.
