371 miles one way, per Google. Long day, with a stop for lunch. Now on the way to Red Lodge . . . hmmmm

And after that, Hwy 20 out of Yellowstone to Cody is gorgeous, and that leads to Chief Joseph. Fun times this summer.

Hola SacramentoMiguelito, be at Nora's at 0730 hours on June 23rd. Son Seth and I'll buy your breakfast, this is the route we'll be taking up from Zonieland. Don't know until after my 1/25/16 surgery if we'll be on two, three or four wheels; but we will ride on to Red Lodge MT with you! JSNS!

5 hours and about 250 miles if one rides over the Beartooth and through the park. At least that's what Bing said.

That's odd, I always thought that Bing Crosby was more of a bicycle guy! JSNS, Ta-da!

Google is taking you on a winter route because of closed roads showing 371 miles.

I have stayed in Red Lodge and rode down to the Cowboy Bar in Jackson for lunch. It is around 500 round trip when you go across country taking the can't miss route of Bear's Tooth pass, down the East side of the park, down 191 detouring for a while to take in the Teton Park Rd, stopping for a photo op in front of Jenny Lake and the Tetons. On the return we went back on 191, hit 20 for a great mountain pass road into Cody and then high tailed it up 120 to Belfry and back into Red Lodge. If your with a take no prisoners group after Cody, you can return taking Chief Joseph highway and back track Bear's Tooth pass if you have enough day light.

Edit: Oops, missed Johns post. But, yep it is very doable, but not allowing much flower sniffing or photo ops while going through the park.
