I got back from a ride this afternoon and noticed that my rotor was glowing red , could this be caused by a warped rotor????

We did do some hard riding on the way up to and back from Canada but seems a little weird as the bike has not dome 15K yet...

thoughts?

Does the wheel spin freely? I had a GSXR 750 that had a caliper dragging. It was dragging due to replacing the front brake lever with an aftermarket on that caused the master cylinder to puts a slight pressure on the system, which built up heat on hte rotor and then the transferred to the caliper which cused more pressure. So after ~ 25 miles the front wheel would almost lock up.

Or it could be the caliper is not releasing all the way, or it could be a warped rotor. You can do a runout test on that and see.

1) Don't have a red sunset in the background when taking a photo.

2) Get a better camera, ya ******.
