My other option is the Genmar or Twisted-Throttle at +50% cost.

I would like to know if anyone has tried redlunaracing and what they think.

I installed a set last month. I can't see where they could be any better. The fit is just right and the bolts appear to be of good quality. Install instructions were a little sketchy, but everything fit well. They shipped fast. I'd buy another set from them. Get a pair of side cutters, a hand full of wrenches, and get busy. It's a < 30 minute job.

I'm gonna guess 500-600. I'm 6'4" and have a natural head forward anatomical position. The stock height bars were low enough to be a little uncomfortable, so the risers are a big help. I used a couple of towels on the fairing and some bungies to tie the bars to the mirrors while I was working. I didn't want the reservoirs to go inverted during installation. Don't forget you'll need a big assed socket to get the triple clamp off. I got a flank drive unit off ebay for $12.

You will be glad you put them on, I still want Wild Bill's hi-way pegs, with the Kuryakin extenders, But, I ride a Heck of a lot MORE comfy as long as I need to. Go for it!

I have about 4000 miles on mine. They do what they are supposed to do. Although they don't really shift the bars back at all.

I am 60 miles away from you and have the socket you need (and the torque wrench and the dremel to cut off the factory wire cage) if you need help and another set of eyes.

For the price, it can't hurt to try. I have a set of these with over 5k miles on them. They really helped, but not enough. I'm 6'1" and these are still just a bit too short for me. I end up still leaning forward just ever so slightly. On long trips the wrists and shoulders start to bother me. If I sit up straight and rest my finger tips on the grips, the ride feels perfect. My next upgrade will be to replace the riser plate altogether. As stated above, the install of the blocks was pretty easy. Only issue I had was that the coating on the block made the alignment pins just a hair too thick. I took a small file and cleaned them up a bit. No problems after that.

Do they tap a hole in the larger screws for the top covers? I will need to be making me some of these since I bought the russell. Seems I have very little time for my own stuff though.

I took my handle bars off a couple of weeks ago to check things out. It looks like I will have to remove the top triple clamp to remove the bracket that Yamaha uses. Can anyone confirm this on install.

yes they do, but the screw that they sent was a but too short so I went to the hardware store and picked up 2 3mm 5 x 8 button heads work fine now

Installed mine a couple of weeks ago and finally got to take a good ride last Friday (320 miles). Huge difference compared to the factory set-up. As said before, the directions are a little sketchy but the mod was well worth the money.
