Removing/disabling the ABS

I had ABS on my '94 truck back then and it failed while entering a toll booth and I nearly ran down the car ahead of me, so I decided that ABS was not for me.
So, if ABS fails, the entire braking system fails? I thought it would mean that it simply reverts to being a non-ABS vehicle, where the operator would need to then manually modulate braking power to prevent wheel lock-up.
In my case that ABS actually kicked in with very light braking at low speed on dry pavement. Rather than allowing the truck to stop it stuttered forward with the brakes pulsing. That was a '94 vehicle and ABS is much improved since then.

Anyone bitching about an FJR needing to lose 10lbs should probably eat smaller meals. That will increase braking performance, handling, acceleration, rider comfort, center of gravity, and maybe even longevity of the rider. It's also free, and doesn't remove any essential or important equipment from the bike, or cause the ECU any issues.

JSNS.

I'm pretty sure it's not a warped rotor, I can't feel it all the time. It could be the front rotors rocking back and forth a little on their rivets, but it sure feels like an ABS pulsing, kinda like the brain box is thinking about it, but not going full solenoid.
You wouldn't feel a warped rotor unless you applied pressure on the brake lever. And there' no "thinking about it but not going full solenoid." The system is completely on, working the solenoids, or it's completely off, using normal brake action. There is no light ABS vs full ABS.

You live in snow country and do not like ABS on your car???? Do you still use an 8 track?
