Can you use an easy-out to remove the tamperproof screws or is there a better way? TIA.

I did search first...didn't see anything.

When I did mine, I center punched the fastener and then drilled the head off of it. You then can remove the switch and take the remaining part out with vise grips.

Didn't look too hard. :dirol:

Clicky
I typed in 'ignition switch removal' and waded through 5 or 6 pages of stuff...didn't see that thread. Thanks, I'll get my drill bits ready.

For future reference:

Next time try: +ignition+switch or + whatever you are looking for. This yielded 16 pages but was about the fourth or fifth post down on the first page.

Even better is using a "Google" search. Clicky

In the future

when searching try this on GOOGLE

Works every time. Looking for something else? EG:
