He doesn't snore, either. :p
Craig, welcome to the forum!
Well, so much for the unwritten code of: "not the type to kiss and tell"

Hal and Craig are sure two upstanding guys .......... I bunked with Craig in Beatty

-and when it came time to check-out of our accomodations he said to me: "been fun, but you're no Hal R"

still not sure how to take that.

Hal, you missed a great time, but we'll make up for lost time at the LowCal 250. I sure look forward to seein' you at the lowcal 250 rally. That promises to be some good fun. Got my invitation and signed up already. I'm told you were one of the early entries as well. I'll be riding the foreigner or outsider division .....what about you? Got news of (rumor) of a get-together the night before ...save me a spot at the bar would ya?

John, you sick mofo, I've reserved a padded room for you at the Institute for Living. They are quite pleased to be able to examine such a unique specimen such as yourself. However, they did say that a frontal lobotomy is most likely your final solution. ;)

PS, great report! :)
hey fuzzy wankerYep some good times and I thought of you while at the bicycle. You and the strom would have enjoyed the time with Craig and I. Thanks for the medical attention you've offered - Always said: rather have a bottle in front of me -than a frontal labotomy.

Hey, just sent you PM about an important event april 26 so make sure your calendar is clear. And save your used valve stems. Keep it hush though, not everyone can handle this event.

Great pics of Nevada John and Death Valley. I love Nevada and the winter pics you took looks special and riding in that your da man. Oh, yes the laying on of hands can heal people and machines, take it from me but thats another story. We can only marvel at your reports and the adventure rides you've done. Keep up the good work and take care. PM. <>< :D

Reno, that was a great report. Great pictures, too.

Thanks for taking the time to put that together for all of us to see.

Great report, John.
Re: FJR Nevada Style, you and Ignacio should trade notes about "form". Rumor has it that he's a "dirt-devil", too.
Admittedly, I am a bit of a candy-ass who's afraid to ride my FJR when there is ice on the ground. However, while I may not be a dirt devil, at least I am a "Dust Devil" and get in plenty of winter rides on my XR-650R! RenoJohn, you should come join us. Monthly meeting is the first Thursday at the Breakaway Pub on Virginia at 7pm.

Thanks for sharing.

Oh, shit! Should I be askeered now?
YEP, ....but just do like me and close your eyes, count to 100 and it's over before you know it.

Yep, I'm a member. Don't go to all that many meetings as the basement in the breakaway is out of range of my ankle bracelet and that gets my parole officer's panties in a wad. They are a good group of guys for the most part, i'm just not much of a organizational kind of guy. I do a *LOT* of riding with Don S ...you likely know Don. Carl A is a favorite of mine to ride with as well. I love to watch him spank all the guys on their fancy KTM's while on his DR350.

Wonder if we've met? I ride a KLX(DRZ)400E heavily mod'd.

Cheers

I was the club secretary last year, but still only made 8 meetings. I have been around for about 5 years, but now there are so many new faces, that I often don't recognize the new guys. I am not sure if we have met, but if we did, I don't remember . . . It must be a function of increasing age and a mis-spent youth! Yes, I know both Don and Carl, and you are right about Carl being very skilled. In fact I have trouble keeping up with him sometimes myself! I plan on trying to make a few of the street rides this year, hope to see you there.

RJ, Attitude is everything, and dood u got da tude.

Matter of fact, if you have a full on hi res pix of this, would you send it my way? I will frame this pup in a NYS and have you sign it when you finally screw up the courage to ride south to the Hondarosa..

This is the pic that does it for me...

The FJR looks great from the front, but it's more distinctive from the rear (and it doesn't even make your @$$ look fat!!) :p
