Replace OEM Grips?

Well, the only TWO things I really don't like about my FJR1300AE are

1) OEM Windshield - just ordered new one from California Scientific!

2) OEM grips. Since the AE has the Yamaha heating system, anyone know if the OEM heat option will still work with the Kuryakyn ISO style grips?

Any recommendations on #2 would be appreciated!

Shane---I have the new '06 Service Manual. Their pictures and descriptions of the grip heating system seems to indicate that the grips just slide on. They do show removing the grips using compressed air.

I do intend to replace the grips with a more comfortable type and install a Throttlemeister as well.

Anyone else looked into this for the AE yet?
