First scenario - Been there. My wife and I had ordered drinks but nothing else yet. Drinks had not arrived. The place was busy so there were no other tables. We just got up and went to another restaurant. If we had received our drinks I would have left enough cash to cover the cost. I have three children, adults now, and we often took them with us to restaurants when they were young. They were not loud nor disruptive. It's a skill they have to learn before you can take them with you.

Second scenario - I absolutely would not have paid for the appetizers if I no longer wanted them. Take them back or leave them at the table, but don't expect me to pay for them.

5 or 6 drinks before you even think about ordering food...

Ya don't give a **** about much after that....

Kids'll stop crying and just watch....

If it's that important to sit with adults, then ask to be moved. Now as for the ap situation, you pull out a pistol and kill every mother ****** in the place! Just checkin to see if you read my posts! Nah you just tell them, in a calm collected voice, they're a ****** mess and they need to tightin up a few iisues before you will dine there again.

I don't think they were eating in Bernalillo you dork. He said it was a "nice" restaurant. BTW...I almost fell on the floor laughing, cuz I could just see the look on your face.

The second thing, with the appetizer happened to my brother and I at a "nice" Japanese Teppin Grill restaurant in Santa Fe. We were there with a lot of family and he and I ordered about $100 worth of sushi that was supposed to come before the meal. I asked the waitress once where it was and she said it would be out "soon."

We finished eating and here comes another waiter with 4 huge plates of sushi. We told him to take it back, which he did, and no one ever even though of asking us to pay for it.

Like others here, I expect good service, and I tip well for it. I'm pretty tolerant of little mistakes, but if something is just FUBAR, like the sushi above, the issue will be solved to my satisfaction before they get my credit card.
