I worried alot about reliability, availability of parts, etc. but I got it anyway in '99.
I had been a Honda only rider (600's) before then.
8 years later, I've had zero mechanical issues or failures, only routine maintenance.
The only thing that shows signs of aging is the headlamp reflector (the chromed plastic is faded), and some of the stick on decals (not the ones clear coated over) have faded a bit.
1999
2007, almost 100% stock, Leo Can, Custom exhaust hanger, that's about it.
Rear View (turn signals swapped and tucked inside)
For me...still fun to ride (performance is out-dated by todays standards, but still respectable 128HP, 410#) , and still nice to look at!
