Went for a ride with the "Weekenders Motorcycle Club" the other day. Beautiful scenery of the state I call home. The video is kind of long, there are parts where the battery died and I forgot to turn it back on but for the most part not bad for my first time at the recording thing

Kinda long? Whoa! It's almost 4 1/2 hours long. Can I kindly suggest some editing to pare it down a bit?

I definitely agree with Denver. Even movie studios must find a way to keep films under 2 hrs, or risk getting panned by critics. Many a heated debate has been between directors and studios over the editing.

While it is easier to just post unedited videos up on YouTube, it's really not advisable. No one, wants to watch the minutiae of everyday life, especially over 5 minutes. My first video was unedited and was under 5 minutes, yet many told me it needed editing. Some time passed, a few more videos made (with editing), and now I see their point. It takes more time to edit, than shoot, the video, but it's worth it in the end. Personally, I like to use music, as it sets a mood, and gives a timeframe to work with.

Just some advice.

P.S. I'm curious, how long did it take to upload that to YouTube?

Not really sure, it took a few hours. I clicked upload and went to bed and when i woke up it was there. I know it probably should be shorter, but i dont feel like sitting in front of a computer, i definitely have better things to do. That one isn't even the whole thing, I forgot to swap batteries a few times so it died and I forgot to turn it back on a few times. My camera only shoots in 10 minute segments so it all had to be stitched together. Fast forward to 1 hour and 57 minutes and look at it therr for a bit.

"'I definately have better things to do' than edit my boring assed ride down to something not so boring, but you dont, so sit there and watch it." Ha! No thanks!

We have a new entry for the FredW Lame Ass Video Festival. Bust will be along shortly with his review.

There's definitely some good stuff in there. I must admit I pulled the bar over and skipped bunches of it. Editing would be the way, like even when it starts, you don't need you sitting at a traffic light etc. It's got a future with some editing, so don't listen to the one's who want to dumpsterize it.

Please repost the cleaned up link/version. I for one would be quite interested (hey, I'm still building my Bike-it-list). Thanks for sharing pnkrk...
