Can't help thinking with all the border crossings (10) that one would have to make for the 5 rides

in 1 week, if you wouldn't raise some eyebrows when trying to explain. :( 2 weeks ago I did the

Palms/Pines/Palms 100 hour ride. Besides 1 of the phones at the unmanned crossing being "Down"

at Angle Inlet, When I reached the border and answered their (US Agents) questions, They did not

like the fact I stayed for 45 minutes and returned... That got my side cases and trunk emptied out

on the ground!

JANE and FINCH!!!!! The toughest and most dangerous 'Hood in Canada. Get up early and get out!! Good Luck.

Has he sent an OKAY signal recently???

Kind of the reason you have these trackers...
\

Last I zoomed in, It looked like a gas station on the corner.

He might have shut it down before it gave his friends exact location.

I do this also with my spot when stopping by friends or family's location.

Is he carrying a lap top? He was online last stop.

Wait... He's on now?

Good riding! You are set up nice for the 2nd half!

Damn, this is GOOD stuff.

Just wanted to let you know this left-coaster is watching, reading, and supporting!

Oh, BTW, he is sooo kicked out of the CBA... Wheatey, yer still good...

On a serious note, and probably stupid note, I *honestly* did not know there were 'bad' areas up there?

D - I know there are bad areas up here; I didn't know the worst one is Jane and Finch

Wow
I need to re-read the entire post - I could not imagine hunkering down on a 'road trip' in areas that I used to live-

..back on topic, I'll be watching this thread with great interest as I love my wrong coast peeps and all their exploits..! :p

Ok he made it through the night ok. He's making good time on the 401 now.

See! that's what I'm sayin'!

I moved out of there in 79 to move to Sudbury. I've literally seen two guys shoot each other at the exact same time! I hadn't been back for about years and years when my ex-fiance and I went down to the bike show and decided to roll through to see the old neighbourhood. If you had seen the stink-eye's ppl who were wearing either all red or all blue were throwing at us.. well lets just say we beat a hasty retreat. Not a good place to be for any reason.

[phew]! I'm guessing he slept on his bike. I still have a few friends that live in the area, but for the most part, everybody EVERYBODY got the hell out of that jungle.

Go Mike Go!

Hum.. he seems to be hung up at the border. Stop for some breakfast?

"Sir, what do you have in those sidebags?"

"What is a Great Lakes Gold?"

"Have you been speeding in our Province?"

"Just what WERE you doing at Jane and Finch?"

"Lets see... You crossed over the border over THERE and now you are entering

back in over HERE... Tell me again THE PURPOSE OF YOUR VISIT?"

Ok Down for the night or at least a few hours.

As you all have talked about last night was interenting. On my way into Toronto I stopped to call my friend and realized my Iphone battery was DEAD and had no way to charge it without 110 power. (Must fix this before IBR5K). So I get into Toron to kinda late after some traffic on 400. The only way in the I know to get ahold of my buddy is the number in the phone. OH ****.

So I decide to just find a room. I tell GPS find lodging and it shows a Comfort Inn and Holiday Express a mile away. So I cant call so I drive over and they have a room so I bookit. Unload get a shower and turn on computer. Thats when I see you Guys point out I am in the worst neighborhood in Canada. So not lots of sleep but got up around 4:30 am and bike was still there :yahoo:

The border crossing today was alittle slow. First ther was some traffic and then the Border Guy wanted to totally check out the Tanji cell. Not because he was concerned but because it was so cool. also he enjoyed all my farkles. like the SPOT, Skyway Hydration, Pelican Case GPS, GPS Remote antenne. So a little slow but no problem at all

I was a little tired today and because I have plenty of time I didnt push to hard. I stopped here in Ohio and will finish in the morning. Should finish in about 78 hours.

Thanks to Steve for the gas station escort and yes that extra motovation is a good pick up.

Thanks to everyone for there support.
