Anyone been to the Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks outside of Santa Fe, NM? We're going to be there in that area next month and were told it's a 'must see'. I like to ride the bike up there but need to know what the access road is like. Whether you've been there by car or bike I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks.

I don't know anything about the tent rocks but, if you're gonna be that close to Albuquerque, take the tram to the top of Sandia Peak. Nice view of the city from up there and it's always full of Babes on vacation! :) I met a group from Venezuela there. It was fun! :clapping:

Let me talk to my wife to see if it's worth the drive to see the babes.............

Never been to the tent rocks, and I live in Albuquerque. I will say that if you're gonna be in SF, Highway 4 is very close, and you can stop and check out the Calles Valdera and Battleship Rock. Have lunch in Jemez, turn around and have fun riding Hwy4 back up...

Thanks! I'll add that to my Things To Do List. We plan on come up that way more than just this time.

I live in Los Alamos, and ride Highway 4 every week. One of the finest motorcycle routes in the Southwest. If you're riding to Jemez Springs, you'll want to visit Bandelier National Monument as well. As a bonus, the roads from Bandelier all the way to Jemez Springs are fantastic.

Check out Bandelero State Park not far from Sante Fe. The park is beautiful and you can climb up in the Kivas on original style ladders. The ride is in a nice canyon as I remember, it's been about 8 years since I was there. Have a great time.
