Sorry to have missed another ride. Another couple of weeks before my bike is back together.
That's no excuse. You can always ride '*****' on the back of beemerdons bike. You two can have the honor of having a combined 'old fart factor' of over 200 years on one bike!

And you two would look good together.

SkooterG: You must have gone to school in Wheaton, IL; our combined ages are less than 150! Actually, my twelve year old Son Seth, I mean the real 12 year old-not GregM, no longer wants to ride in the H-D sidecar rig and he rode behind me.

Let's plan on Arizona FJR Forum and AZ Beemers organizing a combined "Toys-For-Tots" event next year. We both had fun donating money, crowd mingling and giving away a toy; but the event was mostly for the Harley loud pipe leather crowd.

After Labor Day I'm going to Marine Corps Recruiting Station in Phoenix and get our two clubs signed up as M/C sponsors!

I'm giving an old Southwest thread a bump, after a year's time. Last year we of the Arizona FJR Forum, were a day late and a dollar short in doing an organized Christmas Charity Ride. Do we want to promote an Arizona FJR Forum Charity Ride for needy kids? If you have any ideas contact Chuy Medina at H: 480-917-3863, Cell: 480-440-4666 [email protected]

https://phoenix-az.toysfortots.org/local-co...donate-toys.asp Actually Barry, I don't think that it is too late for AZ FJR Forum to contribute with our own Toy Run for Tots in December 2009!!!

We still have the weekend of 12 & 13 and 19 & 20 where we could do this Charity Ride. Tomorrow night at Michael and Doreen's party I'm going to promote this, to see what date we would like to select for this.

Once I get a consensus of what exact day and just how many riders exactly we can muster: I will then contact Sergeant Travis Flowers at 602-353-3068 to see where we can rendezvous at to give the gifts.

I think this would be great for our own AZ FJR Forum Christmas Spirit and would make a magnificent Photo Opportunity for our AZ FJR Forum. Let the Valley community know we in AZ FJR Forum help the kids!!

Per the Toys for Tots website, we can even end the ride at Toys-R-Us store to hand in the gifts for kids.

Would look good having a Jarhead in the picture though! Hey PeteK12GT can you still fit into your uniform?

Wow, an even better idea. I'll just bet SkooterG can still fit into his US Navy dress whites! Oh, Skooty Dear?

Geoff, Brian, Mike, Barry and Others: I really like this brainstorming guys, let's get our heads together at tonight's AZ M/C Christmas Holiday Party and formulate the master plan. I will then put it onto the AZ FJR Forum tomorrow morning. I am going to GO-AZ at 11 today for their Open House and I will pitch their involvement in an AZ FJR Forum Toy Run. Can one of you do the same at Victory? GO, can you finalize with Scottsdale Toy Company the specific club discounts they'll give our M/C Club?
