I have to get out and ride this weekend. Here's what I'm going to do (see linky). Please join me if you are willing and able to join a somewhat spirited ride on some great SW WI twisties. It'd be nice to see you guys outside of Chicagoland! Between STN riders and FJRForum riders and their experience and GPS routes, we're certain to put together a swell route!

Breakfast will be at 7:30 at Perkins restaurant at I-94 and HWY 83 in Delafield, WI. Kickstands up at 8:30. Arrive in Mt. Horeb at 9:45 AM at Kwik Trip. https://www.kwiktrip.com/m_whereweare/storelocator.aspx Sorry for the lame links, folks. Type in Mt. Horeb for the Kwik Trip location on Hwy. 92 and Hwy. 78.

I obviously lack the planning of a typical Mark or Larry gathering, but I know that playing alphabet soup is something even a simpleton like I can manage. As always, ride your OWN ride. The group will leave no rider behind.

P.S. Sorry for the late notice.

Excellent idea Breadman!!

I have a double birthday/ graduation party at my house on Sunday, so I can't make it, but I hope that many do. For all you new Chicago area guys, Breadman is someone you definitely want to meet and ride with. I got a new(er) '06 sitting in my garage (the '03 will be for sale soon) that I've only put a couple hundred miles on so far. I'd love to put it through its paces. Unfortunately this weekend is tough.

See you next time, Breadman. Have fun Sunday and ride safe.

Breadman; I would love to make a repeat of what we did last year, but unfortuneately I will be at Cornell in NY at my daughter's college graduation. Got to see what that four years of money got me!! Keep me in the loop on other SW WI rides though.

Thanks for posting this Breadman.

Normally I would be ALL over this as that area is my cup of tea and I would also like to meet some of the area STNers. However, TriggerT just volunteered to lead me around the Kettle Moraine that morning and I've never been there...so I'll have to catch one of those happenings another time.

SW Wisconsin is definitely in my summer future. Still have good memories of our 500 mile ride last year at about this time. :clapping:

I managed to secure three prime "riding season" vacations this year at Wonder. They are the weeks that include the first day of August, the first of September, and the first day of October. I will attend the STN Region 4 Regional meet in Boscobel this Labor Day weekend. Yeehaa!!

Well, It's still a go! We may get a rain shower mid-morning. Bring the rain suit if you're coming along!

Couldn't do tomorrow so I went today, did the alphabet soup, had coffee at the Cross Plains coffee shop, got my cheese cruds, 78 is closed south of Mt. Horeb  . Had to take 92 to get home, 92 was good. Traffic pretty light for a Memorial Day weekend, and the RD only alerted couple of three times, usually around city limit sighs.............go figure.

I just picked up the ride post tonight unfortuntely.

Was out riding anyway in my Kettle Moraine backyard on Sunday morning.

Saw 2 FJR's around Palmyra earlier and then again around Delafield later in the morning.

Me? On the black cherry riding with a VFR, SV 650 and Ninja.

Who'd I see?

Tim(TriggerT) and Mark(WheatonFJR) is who you saw, I believe.

Breadman got it right...it was Timmy leading me around.

We thought it was Breadman leadin' some STNers around...but we was wrong I guess. Breadman, you were over in SW WI weren't cha?

I was leading three STNers W on I-94 around 9:00 AM toward Madison, but I doubt you saw us.

My route sure did turn out to be nice! I'll save it and repeat it later this year. The weather was perfect for riding - 60's and cloudy.
