There hasn't been a huge amount of chatter on this. I can do either day, and I think Ionbeam was the same. Why don't we just say that we will do this on the Saturday following Turkey Day, Nov 29th.
Anyone that wants to join is more than welcome.
Hey all: Saturday sounds good. Probably meet late morning? Will firm up later with posts, emails, phone calls. Want to meet bluejag also so if he misses the posts I will call him.

And don't listen to anything dcarver and fairlaner say about me: they are after all, from the left coast!

More later.

Cheers!

Tim's brother.

Chris
Yeah...yeah...yeah!!

I'll tell you what, guys, being with Chris is spooky.....almost like being with TWN himself. He's got that same quiet demeaner and a great sense of honor and sense of humor. He's quite a gentleman in the fullest sense of the word.

Enjoy your meet and greet.
Thanks Mike:

Where do I send the check to?

Chris

Send it to me....

Well I hope its Saturday as that works best for me (selfish bastard that I am), either way a late season M&G will be fun for whoever can get there. I'll be watchin' this space for details.
We're all set for this Saturday (the 29th) at noon at 2 Guys Smoke Shop at 304 S. Broadway (Rt. 28) in Salem, NH. It's across the street from T-Bones Steak House. https://www.2guyssmokeshop.com

I'll be there for at least two hours.

Hope to see as many of you there as can make it. The tryptophan should have worn off by then.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Tim's brother,

Chris

P.S. I look like Tim only older and thinner. If you run late, call the store and ask for "the colonel."

Hopefully we will be past the trypthophan byproducts of serotonin and melatonin too (why everyone relaxes and wants to nap after a big Turkey day feast). Man, I thought that Tim and I used to have some off beat food related discussions...

See you all at high noon on Saturday. I'm hoping that the predicted sprinkles will hold off so I can ride over.

Wish I could make it, but I'm going to be knee deep in getting my snowmobile running. DAMN...I miss all the fun!

Tom

Yikes. Ages ago I lived in an apartment on Cluff Crossing Rd. Probably could have crawled there (more likely crawled back). Have fun and thanks for the trip down Memory Ln.

Really belated report of the Meet 'n Greet. The Saturday after Turkey Day turned out to be not so nice weather wise. There had been freezing rain the night before and then temps were slow to rise. I checked my street shortly before noon and there was still too much ice in the shady spots for my liking, so I treked down to Salem in my Jeep. Ionbeam was far braver than me and managed to find enough sunny roadways to get down to Two Guys on Two Wheels. We met up around noon time, had a very nice cigar in the private cigar lounge upstairs (thanks Chris) and swapped lies for a couple of very enjoyable hours. What a great way to miss out on the holiday shopping non-sense.

For those that missed out, too bad for you! Chris is a top-notch guy. I sure hope we hook up sometime in the future for a nice ride and more smokes. Makes me regret that I never met his nutty brother (other than online) all the more. Plus, I could listen to Ionbeam tell stories all day. For those that have never met him in person, Alan has an incredibly colorful and varied past. These are 2 Guys well worth spending a bunch of time with in my books.

Here's a picture of the dastardly trio outside 2 Guys.

Yes, indeedy... CIGARS allowed!!

PS - you probably can't make it out in the picture against the cloudy gray sky, but that big cigar in their sign is always burning with a plume of smoke wafting from the "lit" end.

It was a meaningful connection for me to meet two more of Tim's FJR partners in online crime.

Thanks Alan for putting up with Fred's and my smoke for those few wonderful hours of sharing Tim stories as well as learning about both of you, your backgrounds and bringing me up-to-date on the goings-on in the great state whose citizens live free or die.

On my next visit I hope also to meet the sign maker, bluejag, as well as any other FOT (friends of TWN) in the area.

I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to meet me and for your friendship to my brother.

Happy New Year!

Tim's brother,

Chris
