My secret?

I went WOT with the bike on my commute two weeks ago (first time ever).

Some dude was looking down at his blackberry approaching a redlight with four cars stacked up in front of him and the left lane open. He didnt even bother to look back to see the big FJR with the high beams on and the blinding lime-green jacket. I hit the horn, downshifted to first, hit the breaks and he swerved back to his lane. Iritated, I hit the throttle HARD... Things started happening fast after that:

  • The front wheel came off the ground about four inches,
  • Gravity shifted about 90 degrees and suddenly i felt like I was hanging on to a rocket,
  • The road started angling uphill,
  • I went through two gears with the wheel up
  • The world got very blurry,
  • Everything kind of lost it's color,
  • I looked down and the line on the middle gauge was pointed at 120.
  • I rotated the throttle to the closed position and realized I could breathe again.

Results: Car completely out of sight. Pulled muscles on both forearms and bicepts. Slight sore throat from screaming like a little girl.

It's the sore throat that takes the longest to heal......................I just know that's all. :yahoo:
