Ride the Rio 2006

Is anyone planning to make the Ride the Rio on Feb 17 - 19? Clay Henry is waiting for all.

I would but that would mean I would have to sell my Daytona 500 tickets to someone else and I just can't do that.

I know Donnie from Katy, Tx and Daniel from Friendswood are going on that ride.

Planning on Wednesday in Kerrville, Thursday in Fort Davis, and Friday/Saturday at Chisos. Riding up with a couple good friends I know from work... should be a kickin time!

I'm going also if I ever get my bike back from the "tick" fix (should be this week, he said). Don't think we are leaving till early Friday morning. Several HSTA guys from Houston area with me meeting them at Flatonia exit on 10 then straight thru to Terlingua...T'sipper, aka Lonestar, Tom

I'll be in Ft. Davis Thursday night, ride the loop Friday, and then to Terlingua Friday night for the Saturday rides in Big Bend. Staying at the Chiso Mining company in Terlingua. I'm at the Overland Trail in Ft Davis Thursday night.

Hey Geezer... good to hear from you... we've got some catching up to do... Saw that you were planning on going to Reno this summer... maybe we could ride together if our schedules jive.

Thinking seriously about doing your route, Kerrville etc., instead of long ride Friday arriving worn out at Terlingua. Where you guys staying in Kerrville? Sounds like a more civilized plan to me...Tom (aka T'sipper)

I do believe we're at the Y.O. Ranch that night... and then we're going to eat at CrackerBarrel across the street before we head out in the morning. We've notified some others we think might be heading in the same direction to meet up there.

I'm riiding over to K'ville Wed., probably be at EconoLodge across from Cracker Barrel, then Limpia at Ft. Davis Thurs., Friday down to Mining Co. Will meet up w/ you guys for b'fast at Cracker Barrel Thurs. if I don't run in to you before over at the YO...Tom

I look forward to that too. I'll be with a new member on a Shadow - old friend of mine and I'm trying to convert him to S/T type bikes. We'll see, but he rides the Shadow pretty well for a cruiser.
