Germantown Rd, Skyline Blvd., Rocky Point Rd., US 30, Scappoose Vernonia Hwy, Hwy 202, Jewell, Fishawk Falls Hwy, US 26, Hwy 53, Miami River Rd, US 101, Netarts hwy W, Bayocean Rd., Cape Meares, Netarts, Pacific City, US 101, Beaver, Blaine, Nestucca River Rd., Carlton, Scholls, and then Home. 8-9 hours plus lunch.

I could go Tuesday? I made it to PDX today around noon-thirty. Thanks to n2osx for being my End of Ride witness here. Hopefully I have enough info for the BB1500. Oddly, my shoulders hurt worse than anything else...

Bike is fueled up and ready! I want to make a trip to cyclegear to check out something (more of a "want" than a "need") on Monday.

Wanda's Cafe in Nehalem. We should get there about 12:15pm. I have two (2) scheduled 15 min. photo ops along the way. If we drop one, we should get there at 12noon. About 115 miles at a PACE of about 55-65. Desert or Ice cream at Tillamook.

It is only 263 miles (add your miles to get from your house to the Ride and back). It will be hard to maintain the schedule with so many riders, so be alert and don't expect to stop for more than 10 minutes at a time. You all know how time just disappears when you are having fun.

Just wanted to say a quick word of "Thanks" for organizing the ride today..! Great roads; 75% of which I'd never ridden or even heard of for that matter! We got off to a bit of a rocky start (a few people got lost here and there. Including me...), but it woound up being a terrific day!!

To Paul (twistedcricket), Justin (Jobr), Jim (jaffjrae) and, of course, Ken (blufjr), thanks for helping me pick up my bike and dust it off after my little off road excursion (a.k.a. a blown left-hander precipitated by a sloppy corner entry, a nice patch of gravel and and a rather abrupt pavement edge...). Those are always good fun..! I'd also like to thank whomever it was that placed that large rock right at the edge of the river bank. If it hadn't of been for that, there might also have been a bit of swimming involved! :lol:

Think nothing of it, just all in the fun. It was a great day once we got together. Thanks to Eric for taking the lead and upping the Pace or we never would have gotten to lunch at Wanda's in Nehalem on schedule.

Sorry to Jim and Paul for leaving you in the slow lane on the freeway. Had to get out of the heat. And sorry for the rough roads, especially around Cape Meares.

Nice meeting you Paul and hope that I didn't overdue the twisties tooooo much, but they are less populated. Hope you got some good pictures when we stopped and while you were riding.

Thanks to all of you (Jason, Eric, Justin, Marty, Jim and Paul) for coming along on this ride on this beautiful day, I enjoyed sharing the time and experience with you all.

7 riders, sunny day, a few miles of gravel and SockMonkey proving his prowess with offroading...all great fun.

Except for the last 90 minutes, all spent on I-5 (I knew I should have taken 84/30 over to 205, oh well) it was a GREAT time. I'm glad I rode the bike out!

The roads were great! (minus that gravely part) A LOT more twisties than I've had in a loong time. Knocking the rust off my skills (wait, developing the skills).
