It's not about the "Going to the Sun" Road in Glacier National Park, and I'm not actually going to the Sun, but do you doods know about the ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE coming up this Sunday? Yes, day after tomorrow. Here's info and a good map.

There's a million hits on it on the 'net, too. I'll be in the Bay Area Sunday afternoon, so I'll just find a way to head north and see as much of it as I can. I just want to get far enough north to see the cool "Ring of Fire" effect. If you're in the Bay Area, two or three of us will probably be heading out of Millbrae sometime around 3. The show begins about 5:15, goes a couple of hours. Come on along.

It's gonna be this kind of an eclipse.

Dang, I wish it was Saturday as I'll be over in Fortuna on my KTM test ride of the Lost Coast Road. That would be a perfect location to view it. I'll have to watch for it in my mirror on the way home Sunday.

Double Dawg Dang! It figures <_< that I missed this info (although I did see Apocalyto). Will be riding to Big Bear for the weekend. Any chance the sun will be out in Southern California when I get there?
