I’m riding tomorrow. I’ll rendezvous with a buddy from work and put in a quick 50-75 miles before we get to the office. The local BMW shop (Bob’s BMW, Jessup, MD) is opening at 6:00 AM with coffee and donuts. Guess I need to finally purchase a set of those BMW grips that seem to be a favorite of many FJR owners.

If I don't ride to work it takes twice as long! Besides it's a good way to keep the center of the tire wearing also.

I rode the whopping 2 miles into work today. It takes me more time to lash my lunch cooler to the rack and suit up than its does to get to work so I normally don't ride in.

I thought about riding to work tomorrow, but that means I'd have to keep the FJR in the bedroom and then manage to ride it into the spare bedroom/office. I think my S.O. would complain, especially if I kept the bags on. ;)

lets see park it in the street in chinatown between the hours of 10 pm to 6 am might need a ride home when i cant find the bike there

OK, I rode to work today. I would have done it anyway, but now I can give myself a pat on the back for participating. I leave the house at 5:45 so I don't see much traffic but there is some and I didn't see a single other motorcycle during my 60 mile commute.

Zorkler - you have my sympathy if you have to ride your FJR with bags through Manhattan to get out of town. I used to live in NJ near Paramus and the traffic there is way too much for me these days, can only imagine what it's like for you.

Rode this morning, as I usually do, unfortunately didn't see anymore bike traffic than normal. Pity because it's a beautiful day out there today in Charleston, SC.

Another FJR reporting for commuting duty today. As it does most days. But its only a 30 mile ride. Days like today I wish I lived a little farther (further?) from the job. Did not notice any more bikes than usual on the road, but a couple extra cruiser types in the parking lot at work.
