Every now & again ....you just have to live dangerously.....besides in 9 days....she won't be able to find me (turn on Willey Nelson song....ON THE ROAD AGAIN).... :p

Not in my area to question why. But, I will be on the road. Be it on the road to reno....or minne. Who knows? I'll be eatin' miles....one way or another.

I see a picture developing right now. Aw....now I see. Not a misunderstanding....more like a contrast. Gotcha mikeh. Won't bug ya there, dude.

Especially if she brings "Built for Comfort" along with her... I'd stay in Canada if I were you Mike...

I'm pretty sure I'll ride somewhere that day, but not to work. I'm on vacation and it'll be my birthday!

I'll try hard not to laugh at all the poor saps caging it to work as I head out. :****:

I retired in January; DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK, DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK!!!!!!

I will make a point of taking a nice long ride though.

I can't ride to work on that day, I don't work in the summer.

I will get out for a ride and fake it though. :D

C&C, you could always take your FJR and go do wheelie's and burnouts in your old company's parking lot.... :)

I have gone back to visit a couple of times. The first thing they ask?............Did you bring the bike? The answser has always been yes. The next thing they ask?.................Have you lost weight? Since I've left, I have been using the Bowflex regularly, so I just say that all that fat that had migrated south (while working) has been shifted back to where it is supposed to be. Then they notice that I have that big grin the whole time I'm visiting; yeah, maybe a donut or two in the parking lot would be appropriate. (Riding to work, and not having to stay, looks like the thing to do July 19th.) :D

I've been riding to work this week. not all it's cracked up to be. 102 degrees yesterday on the guage on the way home. 104 today. i was one hot chik.
Hey HOT CHICK, FYI- It's 100+ in Dallas too so I thought I'd give my Joe Rocket cooling vest a try....And I'll be damn...it was better than I expected.....you have to soak it for a couple of minutes and it's best to wear a T-shirt under it as it'll be a little damp with you take off the vest.......I think the cooling vest with those mineral rocks you activate by putting in the refrigerator would be even better as you wouldn't get wet......

Don't let the heat stop ya....

I ride to work almost all the time, excepting the New England winters. One of the reasons I got the FJR was to extend my riding season and increase the number of days I can ride. ATGATT covers my work cloths, brief case and laptop fits in the bags.

I rode to work every day this week: Monday - rain; Tuesday - rain; Wednesday - rain, hail, micro-bursts & a tornado; Thursday - rain; Today 90+ with near 100% humidity -=BUT=- SUN SHINE at last. B)
