Could be he doesn't "own" one yet and is anxiously awaiting his new, red FJR.Why, is it different than the 06s?Makes me glad I ordered a 07.

Wait'll he finds out the first '07s deliverred will be the last batch with the detuned French engines.
That's why I grabbed one of the last 06s, I just wouldn't be happy with the lower output of the detuned 07s. I was reading on one of the European forums the tires are also smaller and of a lower speed rating to correspond with the reduced top speed!!Could be he doesn't "own" one yet and is anxiously awaiting his new, red FJR.Why, is it different than the 06s?Makes me glad I ordered a 07.

*jedi mind trick*
You really, really feel a driving need to trade chornbe your black cherry plastics when your bike arrives. These are not the droids you're looking for.
That review was a joke:
*paraphrasing*
"The FJR is just as good and better in some ways than the GT. The performance and handling is about the same, and it's thousands cheaper. We're giving the beamer the nod. Thanks for reading."

..............and the baiting begins.
Yes, that would seem logical. However, there is a thread about a replacement sleeve/cam that is supposed to work well. I may try it, however mine works well enough for me now. (After the BM, releasing 1 turn on the center spring, grip puppies and a PCIII.) :dribble: However, I notice my solution for any possible "lag" from trailing idle to coming on the throttle while shifting gears in corners or otherwise is this: I almost never come completely off the throttle. I just reduce/increase the r's a little and shift up or down as required. The only time I let it get to idle is at a stop sign. B)It is interesting to note that the recent article in Rider complained about the overly sensitive throttle on the 06. Maybe Yamaha will take notice and undo the progressive throttle pulley.
