Riding over Turkey Day weekend?

Since we had to bail on our last trip due to Superstorm Sandy, I thought we might put some thought into our next biking escapade. I do believe I have a 4 day weekend for Turkey Day. I could probably be coaxed into a bike trip... & I think that camping is out for me until spring. Maybe a trip to Old Clark or such? I'm open to suggestions... Discussion???

Edited to add: I'm thinking WV/VA or NC area... but definitely open to suggestions.

Awesome Joe, I was wondering if there'd be any interest. Most people are with family & whatnot. Even if I do the family thing, I still have Fri, Sat, Sun for a trip. Let's see what pans out.

Well, I think I'm going to need to bail on this trip if there was anyone actually interested.

1911, you might consider starting your own thread. Besides it being fairly crappy form to tag onto someone else's thread with your own agenda, you might get more action with your own specifically tailored to YOUR ride.

I agree with you, Heidi...1911 might get more traffic on a separate thread.

However, I don't think he was meaning anything...your thread title was just asking if someone was riding over the Turkey Day weekend without being location specific...he was riding and chimed in.

I'm going for a ride. Here in texas you can ride almost year round. I might take a little jaunt down to the liquor store and pick me up some cheap vodka. Anyone wanna meet up round 121 and glade road?

Whadda ya mean? Saturday looks to be a little on the chilly side, but the rest of the weekend will be pretty nice. I am looking at camping at Hungry Mother SP.
