Riding with a snake

Put a Givi 15lt tank bag (click/locks to tank ring) on my V-strom, as many of you are aware it comes with a safety strap on the front, a long safety strap, with a large male fitting on the end, and the other side has a shorter strap with the female connection. Did not want to trim it off as others have done, so just loop it around handle bars. First time I forgot to clip it after gassing up when I hit 60ish I had this large "snake with head" dancing like two feet in the air in front of my face. Spooked me the first time, I still forget it once and a great while but now I can just chuckle when it rears up.

Ha! Reminds me of the first time my riding buddy Ken the HD Guy tried using an mp3 while riding. He put the player in his windshield bag and draped the earbud cord over the tank & under his helmet. For the next 30 miles it looked like he was riding through a herd of moths.

To the OP: I laughed thinking about the snaking wacking you while you fling your arms around. Glad you stopped safely
