I second the Quiet Rider. I tried out the standard model first, but on my tight fitting Arai the only word that properly describes the process of getting the helmet on is "birth canal". I switched to the deluxe model, and the squeeze is just a little less restrictive. Gotta give a warning though, not for folks that get claustrophobic...

I ordered mine after reading this: webbikeworld quiet rider review

I was just fine with my Arai Quantum II in combination with my "barndoor-sized-cold-month-windscreen", but the stocker I put on for summer made my Arai loud as hell. The quiet rider helped a lot with the low frequency booming. NOJ sells directly on fleabay BTW.

Well it's been over a month. The combination of better fitting ear plugs and the Windjammer II give me a quiet ride.

Now I just need to get to an audiologist. The tinnitus isn't solely from the FJR, it's just gotten worse over the past few months.

For what it's worth the Windjammer II cost me around $22-23 and got here in 3-4 days after I ordered it. It makes a big difference. The earplugs cut down the noise but the Windjammer takes away the thumping and pressure on my ears. It does cause a little more faceshield fogging on cooler mornings but overall I am very satisfied with it.

Thanks for the tips guys.
