We drove out to Riverside Calif this weekend to attend the funeral of my sister-in-law Michelle, who lost her 20+ year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. A cheerful, kind, positive woman despite the horrible illness.

May she rest in peace, and condolences to her loved ones and friends.

It truly amazes me how some people can remain as you say cheerful, kind and positive when the odds are so stacked against them.

I witnessed this with my own Brother and still find myself awed by the strength he displayed.

Sorry for your loss Mark.

Sorry for you and your family's loss. I lost my best friend and older brother going on 3 years ago and still miss him terribly. He was fighting it to the last and like your sister-in-law refused to let his condition define his life. I hope all of you find peace and know you will see her again.

So sorry for your and the family's loss. We spend so short a time here, even less together with those who really count. That video makes that point so poignantly. May she rest in peace and be well remembered by all who got to spend some of that time with her.

Thank you my friends!

It was a good thing to bring Duchess out there, as my brother, sister, nephew & niece had not met her in person. She did her thing and cheered them up a little.( my brother said he showed Michelle my FB posts of duchess & our adventures, she loved animals) We drove out in a rental car as it was way to hot to cross the desert on a bike. Here's a vid of the stops we made & a swim in my sisters pool.
