I now have the "IN-Charge" Tank Bags from RKA in stock. You can see them here.

As usual, the FJR Forum discount applies. See link in my signature for details.

I'm wondering what the inside looks like....

Are there plastic walls to box-in the form of the bag?

What is the Internal "Control Box" attached to?

rigid side wall?

What keeps the stem mount from flopping around in the wind?

rigid side wall?

This is a high dollar model. I know there is more here than meets the eye.

Adding an inside pic or two to the web site might clear it all up....

An expanded view of the bag would be good too.

To the casual surfer, it looks like a tiny bag too small to hold much.

But, 19 Liters seems gigantic. That is almost the size of the entire gas tank!

Does it have pup tent door on it.

Are there plastic walls to box-in the form of the bag? - Yes

Adding an inside pic or two to the web site might clear it all up.... - I'll work on that over the next couple of days.

When I was at NAFO I saw ther stuff and it was pretty nice for those that have two bikes.

I have this tankbag, albeit without all the "Communications" stuff. I scored it from RKA during the John Day BMW rally in central Oregon last June.

It is a very nice bag, however, be aware that Rich Battles (the 'R' in RKA) will not even entertain the notion of offering these bags using a magnetic mount. They are strictly strap mounted. I find strap-mounted bags to be a huge ass-pain during Endurance Riding events... magnetic is the only way to go when one is interested in minimizing refuel stop times.

That said, Rich was happy to sell me a "regular" tankbag that he does offer the magnetic mounting system, and then sold me various Ram-Mount components so I could create my own version of the "Comm" tankbag.

Here is the insides of the "Control Box" inside the Comm tankbag: Control Box innards

I recommend this bag, and I recommend you score it from BikeEffects.... we should absolutely help support our FJR family vendors.

hmmmmmm, ....interesting.

Very much love my simple ~RKA~ magnetic bag on my FJR. These folks do great work.

I was not aware of this sophisticated 'com' bag

...but I too am not a fan of strap-ons. I like my unit held by magnets.

Good job B efcts' for supplying this bag. I look forward to seeing one in person and perhaps an upgrade or hybrid such as WC's is in my future.

There are people on this forum that have had comm problems related to magnets. Something to consider.
