Hi folks, just new to the board and thought some of you might be into stories about going to strange places. Here's one on my ride to Yellowknife, North West Territories (Canada) from Ottawa last year. It was about 7,000 miles in 12 days.

I know what you mean about no high-test, had to fill my old cruiser with regular at Chapleau, Ontario once, twas all there was at the station...

Excellent writing Hogboy, I've been up for hours beyond plan because I can't put it away. Made it up to Day Ten so far plus read Dads,Daughters and Motorcycles which is timely reading for me. Love your sense of humor and prose !
