Roan Mountain Ride

Rode up to Roan Mountain today just to see how cool it was up there...it was cool and breezy. Saw a silver FJR (no bags) in a 5-pack of bikes...first one I've seen on the road around here.

That's one of my favorite rides, and it's practically in my back yard. It makes a good hour round trip plus time spent at the gap. Good place to hike, but I don't leave the FJR sitting around to hike up there.

That was me! Sorry I didn't stop to chat. I was having a bad day....I got stung by a bee and was swelling up horribly.

Hello, JohnBryer! Sorry abt the bee sting...hope it's OK by now. Actually, I didn't notice you were riding a Feejer until I was in the shade w/ a bottle of water and saw you guys (and lady) gearing up and riding off.

Maybe I'll see you again as I ride that way often.

You ought to check into the Charlotte Riders board.

We typically ride on Sundays and meet near Morganton, NC.

The Friday thing happened because several of us are now currently unemployed.
