We are in Grand Rapids this morning. Yesterday we did the super slab from Ontario to here. No pics because we didn't see anything but trucks and RVs and rain. Maybe today we'll see something fun.

So far Mitchy and I have done 1643 kms. (1000) miles. We are in Williamsburg Iowa on Hwy 80.Nothing much to see when you're skootin along at 80 MPH on a slab.We should have left sooner so as to wander a bit. I guess we'll take our time going home. Here's a pic from Monday morning at my favorite bike shop.

This is the way I have to get my wireless hook up at the motel.

It's ok though... I'm bagged. We did pass some neat things on the way though. A huge open mine pit in Gary Indiana. We crossed the swollen Mississippi. And all the little rivers along the way are swollen too. Poor folks.

I'd like to thank my wifes cousins for letting us stay at their place last night in Grand Rapids.

I'll try and get some more pics up... I think Mitchy has been taking some from the pillion.

Well it's Thursday and we 're on the last leg into NAFO. We're taking a secondary road today.

Here's what yesterday looked like.

This is just to show that even at rest the beast looks fast.

And one more of Mitchy. Taking a tour of a rest stop.

This one was taken somewhere in my neck of the woods! Krazy Kaplans billboards are everywhere around SW Michigan, NW Indiana, and NE Illinois. Have fun at NAFO!

So we made it to the top of Pikes Peak today with Huron52 and Pam and Moosehead. What a ride. Parts of the road are not paved yet and to control dust they put down water, Lots of water which causes the road to turn into a slurry. Very slippery. Fortunately our superior riding skills took us to the top.

Very muddy

We saw real live Mountain Goats too.

It was sunny and hot one minute...

And cold and snowing and hail the next!

Sometimes it looked like you were going to drive off the side of the mountain.

The view was unbelievable!! I'm so glad I could share it with my Mitchy.

And my friends.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Well today we went to Mt Evans. wow what a ride. Coolest road ever.

We saw more wild goats.

We stood on top of the world.

Went through the world

And when we got back today we didn't have to wash our bikes like when we got back from Pikes Peak
