I remember seeing JCS on Broadway when I was 15 which would make it, hmmmmmmmmmm, 1973? It was the first Broadway show I ever saw and probably the one that made the biggest impression on me even though I'm not a real religious person. I think it was probably the beginning of the rock opera.

Oh, of course, how could I forget that masterpiece. Thats funny because that is easily one of my favorite bands of all time. :guitar:

$9.99 at Amazon for the DVD. Or anyone can just drop by and watch it on the big screen. My story was my Mom brought to see it in the theater in 1972. I was 6 years old. When they started whipping JC, I stood on my chair and yelled at the top of my lungs, "STOP WHIPPING THAT NICE MAN!!!" Then I ran out and cried, not understanding why they did it.

I get it now. Power, greed, fear. I'm all grown up...kinda.

Just took the wife to see " Moving Out " a broadway play based on Billy Joel music. Cost me 200 bucks. I saw the piano man in concert 25 yrs ago. It was great, but this musical did not do too much for me. Didn't even get laid for the effort. :sadsmiley:
