Of course it was only 24 degs F. I did see two other riders in my inward commute and one was a 04 FJR we are a hardy bunch! The F must stand for frosty?? I will be riding until the SNOW comes, then the Skidoo comes out. One thing nice about the sled, when you fall off your low to the ground and no cage will be right behind you ready to pounce and there are no highway officers in the middle of the lake.

Hope you all had as good of year riding as I did, just over 15K as of today, 30K on the bike, I do love flying with this bike even if it’s only sixty MPH .

I ride every day it's not snowing and there's no ice. I finally have the bike and gear to ride until that stuff stops me. The only time of year I can stand to wear a full face helmet.

Yum! Bugs!

This damn 60+ weather is gonna kill me. Today I played "Lets Die Quick" with a Busa on 35E south at 125+mph through semi-rush hour traffic, then get into a 100+mph drag race with a 140" chop on Cedar Av. Someone better bring on the snow quick while I still have a license....

Caught the Busa in traffic when I spotted him half a mile ahead. He shot over 2 lanes, had I not anticipated the move, he'd of ridden right into me. I then shot ahead of him and the race was on. It ended when I came up the *** of a County Mountie at a buck plus, but spotted him in time to avoid a misunderstanding. The Busa appreciated my warning when I flashed him (he was well behind hehe), and he gave a nice wave as I exited. The HD (or S&S, or FatBastardCustoms, or whatever the F it was) will not be telling his story over multiple cheap beers tonight.... :D

FJR = Frosty Jewelled Radman (or Ratman). I keep thinkin' about all them guys complaining about their jewels getting roasted, but in MN that system is known as a defroster. ;)

Gotta admit, the riding here in MN in Nov has been great. Been a long time since I remember riding this late in the year with the temp being in the 60's. The FJR does run great in the below 30 temps. Was 22 degrees this AM for my ride in from the NW.

Radman you have nads of steel!!! you know after 100 MPH there is no more license for six months, I’ll push but stop around 90 the fun gets to serious after that.

Looks like were done for a while after today
