Rode up to Mt Baker

Had a free pass yesterday so decided to run up to Heather Medows. I went up thru Darington to my favorite road the Sauk Concrete Rd.

Then Down the South Skagit Hwy.

I road aways up 9 then took Prairie Rd over to old 99.

A shot of the South end of Lake Whatcom.

Back to 9.

Going up the Mt Baker Hwy.

Went for a hike took some shots from around the Meadows.

I went home via the Chackanut.

Closed!

All most Home, had a great day and feel blessed to live where I live.

I stopped at a Subway and picked up a 6" Ham and Turkey and found a rock to sit on and take in the view. Pie doesn't do to well bouncing in the smuggler!

Great photos, Panman.

Reminds me of the time I rode up to Mt. Baker on my then new '77 KZ-650, while stationed at NAS Whidbey Island. Looks different than I remember, because I was there in February. Snow was 10 feet high on the road sides.

Panman, it's funny my friends out in Califorina say the same thing about the rain .. I think it's funny.

The annual average precipitation at Bellingham is 34.84 Inches

a foot less a year would be welcome
