Any one of you Oregonian/Washingtonian's going to the RC 500 tomorrow the 10th of May? My riding partner backed out last minute with "other things to do" some friend.

Looking for some good guys, or gals, to hang with on the ride. Should be a good one. From what I hear on the grapevine it might be heading East this year. I guess it was on the coast and south last year. I have not registered yet and will doing so at the starting point tomorrow morning.

Please get with me if you are interested.

Hope to see you there.

Steve

The route is in North Eastern Oregon. It starts and ends in Portland with a loop through Biggs, Condon, Spray, Service Creek (Lunch), Fossil, Bakeoven, Maupin, Grass Valley and then back to Biggs. I'm riding as a course ambassador for the Rose City Motorcycle Club which is running the event. Two of us are scheduled to leave at 7:30am. You're welcome to join us if you like. :)

If you have a GPS I just created the route. Send me a PM if you would like a copy.

I've lived here 17 years and have never heard of it :dntknw: (not that this means much, it just sounded cool to say...). What is unique about it?

Hey, I did the RC 500 last year. We found some good roads and some bad ones. The 500 and the 250 are very popular rides with all kinds of bikes turning out. The only problem is the time of the year and the weather can suck. Damn, forgot all about it this year, but its a busy weekend for me anyway. I will have to mark it down for next year.
