ROT RALLY being investigated...

co-workers went to the ROT rally and this will be the last time.

They are far from being prudes but they say the nudity and open sex acts were WAAAAAAAY out of line this year.

I really didnt see much of it this year. Spent 95% of the time away from the rally riding the surrounding area. Got there Thursday around 2:30, checked in, spent about an hour checking the rally site out, then went to hotel, then ate, then went back for the 3 Dog Night concert, left as soon as it was over. Friday was spent riding all day...Luckenbach, Fredriksburg, etc. Saturday was another riding day around Lake Travis, did Canyon Lake area, then spent about 1 1/2 hours Sat afternoon at the rally. Saturday nite was 6th St., then up Sunday morning for ride back home (390 miles or so).

I know that if you go back into the camping areas, they get pretty raunchy.

I live and work in Austin as a motor cop. Of all the events this city has the ROT rally is the one that gives us the least problem. this yrear it was 101. if I would not have been fired, or scared everyone out of town i would have rode necked

which says more about the other events than about ROT.

Just a follow up on this developing story...if you go to the ROT RALLY web site...you will see that they now have ROT Rally 2009 with an asterik showing MUST BE 18 AND OVER. Interesting.
