Route from Texarkana to DFW?

Assuming all goes as planned I'll be heading to Texarkana friday morning to pick up my FJR. Since I'll be riding it back, I'm wondering if any of you guys have route suggestions for a more "fun" route back. I have to get back to the Metroplex at a fairly decent hour so I can't go too far afield for a scenic route but I do want to avoid the superslab as much as possible.

My recommendation for the best roads from Texarkana to DFW?

I30 NE to AR355 N to AR332 E to Hwy4 NW to US371 W to Hwy26 NE to Hwy27 NE to

Hwy301 SE to back to Hwy26 NE to Hwy27 N to Kirby (US70) W to

Old Black Springs Rd N to Langly - Hwy369 N that loops around to Hwy240 E to Hwy 8

Hwy 8 N to Hwy27 N to Danville - Hwy10 E to Hwy7 S to Fountain Lake.

Bee line on Hwy 5 E to Benton, Take I30 into Little Rock and grab a plane home.

Anything between Texarkana and DFW will be dull compared.

Yeppers. Drop off the kids at school at 7:45 and then get my butt to Texarkana pronto! I've been reluctant to check the weather so I don't jinx myself. Someone please tell me it's going to be perfect weather this coming weekend-- I got a bike to break in.

Nat'l Weather Service has 30 percent chance of showers on Friday for FW and Texarkana. Think positive and be careful!

Be prepared and take the rain gear and have a nice, safe break-in ride, then change the oil and filter after you get home.

Ridden it many a time and, unless you make some lon-gassed loop east or west, there ain't much to say about the shot between Texarkana and DFW.
