That, and LL had her hand in my pocket, so life is SCHWEET! :D
Um.... my understanding is that Lisa Landry had her hand in your breast pocket.

It was DEAN who had his hand in your, uh, lower pocket!
Gooolllly, I just am so naive to what happens in public on the streets of Hollyweird. I didn't see that at the time, but now that I think back ........

BTW, those were some groovy looking duds that GS was sporting. Looks like some forward thinking engineering went into those. ....Maybe what we see is part of the testing criteria? Wonder if they'll perform as well in riding situations as they do on the sidewalks of Hollyweird? ...Reallly, if they protected GZ from that mob, I can guarantee they'd protect in a high-speed get-off.

Check out this FJR color scheme and detail. It's owner Steve is on the forum ...but I'm not sure of his forum handle. This bike is no parking lot FJR clone like the rest of ours are.

John, I am so glad to hear you made home ok. Thanks for the kind word for my bike. I am still aching from the pastrami burrito. :D Stay away from their chili. :p Hope to see ya later. By the way, I am James.

Yeah, that was a fun meet !!!

Had a stretch chili with a side of rings, and a Bubble-Up !!

I had been in Lancaster all day with my daughter's marching band and color guard - everyone freezing their posteriors off - left there at 7:15 to head back home for the bike so I could make Pinks. So RenoJohn decides to stop by. We missed each other by maybe 10 minutes or so. I wonder what all those folks thought when they saw this guy walking around in a black 'snowsuit' - heck, they were probably jealous!

So I get home at about 9:45, a pic message arrives on my phone - it's the Pink's building sign. Seems the Reno hick was there ..... so I geared up, and headed back north. Arrived about 10:45 or so.

Good to see everyone - haven't seen NinjaBoy since the LA1K, Chickey191 since Spank, TurboDave was there on his ST1100..... Rogue, KJC625, Beeroux, and meeting Kneebone? Wow - at Pink's, no less.

Non-forum members made up the bulk of the group - and it was great seeing them again, as well as meeting new faces.

And those were darn good rings. I don't know what they fry them in, but it's undoubtedly some really unhealthy greasy, angioplasty causing stuff that tastes just so darn good !

Here's to Dean for pulling this together :clapping: :yahoo: -Thanks, Dean !

Thanks to Dean for putting the thing together

good to see you at the ride in.

Didn't know you were a band dad, too.

Tell you how bad I am - my oldest daughter (trombone) graduated last year (with an undefeated marching season, by the way) and my youngest who was in guard last year - is NOT in guard this year.

and I STILL went to 3 meets including the finals for us at Arcadia.

Just like an old firehouse dog - ring the bell and I go out and unload a band semi.

Go Mt. Carmel Marching Sundevils ! (we didn't do so hot this year)

AND - - The RTE was pretty good -

ended up with a "Lord of the Rings" and wife had a Muholland Drive.

a couple of stogies and a chilly ride home (got down to high thirties). Home by 3:30 AM - which was great. First time I've been through that part of LA without traffic. Almost enjoyable.

I really wish I could have made it, but I had already made plans and I just couldn't weasel out of them. Bummer...

Check out this FJR color scheme and detail. It's owner Jim, (kjc625 on the forum) This bike is no parking lot FJR clone like the rest of ours are.
I remember when he was asking for suggestions. That really did turn out well. I wonder if that color scheme helps with lane sharing?

GZ (Beeroux) .....I'm not sure what George did (this time) ..but he can incite a nice group of folks into MOB MENTALITY in nanoseconds. Here the angry mob pushing forward ...they all wanted to be the first throw at the public stoning. Note the guy with GZ's jacket clenched in his fist ...while Lisa Landy, Dean T and others prepare to whale away ........

Whatever you did GZ .......no doubt you earned this flogging.
It REALLY looks like they're playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors". From the expression on George's face...he can't make "scissors"...and he's losing. Though the "hand-in-pocket" alibi is a good cover.

Nice write-up and pictures, John.
