1. Riding isn't dangerous, crashing is dangerous.

2. The only time you have too much fuel is when you are on fire.

3 When in doubt, slow down. Nobody has ever hit something too slow.

4. A 'good' ride is one you can walk away from. A 'great' ride is

one after which you can use the bike again.

5. Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough

to make them all yourself.

6. Always try to keep the number of times you put your sidestand

down equal to the number of times you put the sidestand up, and vice

versa.

7. There are two rules for riding fast and smooth in snow or ice.

Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.

8. You start with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of

experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag

of luck.

9. If all you can see in your mirror is sparks, and all you can hear

is screaming from your passenger, you might want to stop and take a

look.

10. In the ongoing battle between motorcycles and the ground, the

ground has yet to lose. Same goes for cars, trucks and animals

taller than your bike. There are no ties.

11. Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from

bad judgement. Who designed this system?

12. Remember, gravity is not just a good idea, it is a law and not

subject to appeal

Maybe we will soon have some reports from riders actively researching the answers to #7?
