Yes your bike came with the covers when it was new. The PO should have given them to ya. Maybe you can post a message on the WTB section and someone will have a set they can sell ya. Hope this helps

There should be six covers, four for the top and two for the bottom

Fill the holes up with silicone, then paint. Don't forget to vaseline the surfaces before you put in the silicone. Leave a finger hole in the silicone to get the plugs out when you need to put on the saddle bags. Just a thought.

Yes, Yamaha sells rear fender covers for your bike. That is what you want to ask for: Rear Fender Covers. My 2008 was missing the covers and so I had to purchase them from Yamaha. They are quite expensive though, around $64 for a set of four. The part numbers for the 2008 are : 3p6-2163E-00-p0 and 3p6-2163E-10-p0 . The part numbers are most likely not the same for your bike, but hopefully, this helps. JRH08FJR

Go to your local cycle shop and order them from yamaha.

I know they have them as I have ordered when I accidently

drove over one I left out and broke the damn thing.

You may have them and don't know it. I found mine after removing the rear seat. They were in a plastic bag and stuck in one of the crevasses on what I would call the rear fender.

The original owner may have had them stored separately and just not thought about them.
I'm in the same boat - My PO just couldn't find them anymore.

I've posted in the WTB section recently with Zero offers or replies. Go get them from your dealer or one of the online sources that has a parts finder with the schematics to be sure to get the right color.

Chris: What colour are you looking for? I have a set of Cerullian Silver from my 04 which were never used. Let me know what they're worth to you.

Hi Dave,

Thanks a bunch for the offer - My 2006 is cerulean also, but alas it's a GenII, vs. your 2004 covers are GenI. They are different from each other and not interchangeable.

When I bought my 09' the covers were missing. After getting a quote from my local stealer I went on the net to search for a better deal. Best price I found was at Stadium Yamaha in Texas. Luckily, the previous owner found them before I ordered the replacements. I did wind up doing buisness with Stadium and they were good folks to deal with. Check em' out at Stadium Yamaha
