Does anyone know what the capacity of the FJR bags are (cubic inch or centimeter wise, that is). They seem to hold more than the bags on my old Concours, but I'm not sure. The Connie bags have the issue of a turn signal post coming right through the bag, so maybe that's why the FJR bags seem bigger.

Also, I'm about 6'3, and am looking to buy the bigger windscreen from Yamaha. The nice thing is, since I financed with Yammy, they sent me a $25.00 off coupon for any Yamaha part or accessory, which puts the Yammy windscreen at $85.00. I've read some "I like it" posts, and some "I don't like it" posts, but no one really said why they didn't like it.

Any info would be helpful...

I have the tall yamaha windshield. I am 5'11'' and with the shield fully up, I still look over the screen. For me, with my seat in the low position it works great.

I can ride with my helmet visor up and there is a little wind movement around my head but not enough to need eye protection. It is also very quiet with the screen up. With the windshield fully down, the wind hits right at the top of my shoulders with no buffeting. Still plenty of cooling air.

I can only compare it to the stock windshield because I havent ridden with any of the others. For me, I think it works great and would buy it again.

anybody else have any thoughts on the yammie tall-I have the vstream and dont like looking through it up or the barn door look-it does however create the still air pocket. I am considering the yammie tall-trying to find one I like without buying them all
