Saddlebag Locks

I've used the knob/key trick as shown in that post. I did note however that vibration tended to make the one knob/key start to turn somewhat as I rode making me concerned about the bag unlatching. Oddly though I use that set up in my top box with absolutely no issues.

Now I just carry those 2 knob/keys in my tank bag and don't let them in while riding.

While in the lock position pull the key up until you feel one 'click'. The lock tumblers will not let the key move further up or back down nor will the lock turn. I have ridden almost 100,000 miles on a ST1300 and a FJR and have not had a key move out of this position from vibration.
