Take the largest pair of channel locks you own. Size them to the reflectors and clamp on parallel to the surface of the bag (in other words, on the large end of the reflector). Rotate the reflector gently in line with the bag surface. The reflector will twist right off. In my case the tape came with it. Effortless and clean. A large crescent wrench would probably work just as well.

Sounds good... I didn't do mine that way..I worried that I might take some finish with it. I did the hair dryer (on the inside) and "sliced" the seal point with some fishing line. That way worked GREAT too!

I hope your not a dentist... :D

Under the category of FWIW, in a tip-over the reflector works as a bumper preventing damage to the bag. The operative words are tip-over, the reflector is not a bag slider.

Man! I just pulled mine off after Garauld repaired my left bag. Looks cleaner without it. Hopefully I won't have any more accidents. I used dental floss and WD-40 and a plastic stick.

Stupid Q of the day: Why in the world would you want to remove your reflectors? To become "more" invisible to drivers? Jb
I removed mine because the left one was damaged in my get off. It just look better without it but I am looking for some kind of tape or something that I can put on that won't look so bad but still provide reflections at night.
