Safety Course Discount?

Anyone getting an insurance discount for taking a safety course? Just took the BRC again (GF didnt want to take it alone), called Progressive to let them know. The discount was a whole 8 dollars on an $220/year policy. GF did not qualify for any discount with Sate Farm on her Savage. Is this the same everywhere?

I have Progressive and don't get a discount for completing the BRC at all so you're $8 ahead of me.

I think Gieco gives a 10% discount for BRC..

Progressive has a very steep decline in rate for years in the saddle once you get over 25 or something like that. I recall playing with numbers on my policy and was surprised to see how much the rate went down when I put the actual number of riding years (38) in. No safety course to point to on my policy. Full coverage for $555 per annum.

I get a discount for safetly class and for my 20+ years of riding.

My wife still gets a discount for the class as well even though she had no prior experience.

Full coverage on her Ninja 250 is like $88 a year, full coverage on my FJR is I think $288 a year.
