All riders welcome.

Start new friendships and enjoy the country mountain ride with all of its sweeping twisty roads.

Start: D.Z. Akins 6930 Alvarado Road, San Diego, CA 92120 DZ Akins Restaurant

Arrival time: 7:30 a.m. Ride begins between 8 & 8:30.....depending on breakfast needs/desires.

Ride Route:

8 East (2 miles)

125 South (1.6 miles)

94 East from the right lane (4.6 miles)

Campo Road (right)(a.k.a. CA-94) (36.6 miles)

(I recommend we stay together as a group until passing Honey Springs Road. There is a small market here that may have restroom facilities if necessary otherwise we will stop at the Blue Jay Lodge.

(very fun….faster riders will want to open it up here….we will meet up again at the Blue Jay Lodge for a stretch/restroom break. The Lodge is 11 miles from I-8.) Blue Jay Lodge

Leave Dudley’s (left) (.1 mile)

CA-79 (left) (7 miles)

CA-76 (left) (4.5 miles)

See you at Starbucks just before 7am, Laguna Hills. Dont forget to charge the Chatterbox!

I'll be meeting with you at El Toro & Valencia in Laguna Hills, at Starbucks before 7am, then going over a couple of exits to San Juan Capistrano exit at Ortega hwy 74 and hwy 5 to the Chevron on the East side where Denny's is. I'll be meeting with 4-6 other riders for coffee and a quick breakfast between 7am and 7:15am. Then we will ride down to San Diego and meet the other group.

p.s. Yeah I already charged my chatterbox...channel 2 group 14 by the way.

Fun ride - thanks for the invitation.

Nice to meet you folks. Sorry I bailed out at that last stop, but I wanted to get home to do some crap. Still managed to run up E. Grade and S. Grade.

When i came down I got behind Don (Dan?) and we were behind about 50 bikes on the road in front of Pala.

Mui LEO's at the bottom of S. Grade and 76 - but ZERO traffic on the Palomar route.

Beautiful day for a ride.

I know you were trying to keep folks together, but like I explained to HIS/HER 2006

I just can't stand stopping. I'd rather just keep going. Stopping and standing around gets me pretty antsy -

but it was a real nice day for a real nice ride.

glad I went.

Very fun ride, next time we'll put a 1300cc in that Harley.

Great Ride, 306miles total. I wish I could have rode more with all of you. Lets plan the next one!

@Chickey 191,

I'll let you know about the light switch when I hear from the DIGI-KEY rep.
