I believe this is the most current thread, a search will find more. The seat is adjustable to low-high like stock.

Although probably not as plush as a custom built, it is a huge improvement over stock. Also 1/2 the money and waiting time.

Think there has been a couple of posts on this...try the search feature.

Hi,
Has anyone tried the Sargent World Sport Seats for the FJR? The web page says it works with the new 06-07 adjustable seat.

Thanks
Tried one on my '07, not a significant improvement over the stock seat and returned for credit. I did use one on my '03 and it was an improvement over the stock seat. Have a Russell seat ordered. Do not especially like the look but everyone swears by the comfort.

I have a sargent on my '04. IMHO, it is a great improvement over the stock seat at a good price. I like the built in storage under the seat(s) also.

Half the money? Umm... no. $349 for the cheapest version of the Sargent, $455 for a Russel Day Long, $399 for a Bill Mayer Saddle. Go custom.

You might want to get that Russell heated while your at it, really nice.

I love my Sargent. If you don't you have 30 days to send it back. You can always sell it later and keep riding it while you send/wait your stock seat to Mayer etc.

I put a Sargent on my VFR and ST1300 and made it all day comfortable.

Do a search and you'll find the threads.

Steve

I had one on my 04', 100% better than stock! When I had my Russel built I included my favorable impressions of the Sargent.

Short story, great seat.... But get a custom seat! Custom seats (IMHO) are 1,000 X better than any off the shelf seat.
