Sorry to hear that Kevin.

It looks like we should be good for Friday & Sunday, Saturday looks pretty ugly.

No route set for Sunday, just a twisty way home.

Hey Tstaff, what time do you think you might be at "Traditions" in Woodsfield? I am planning on getting off of Rt 77 at Caldwell Rt 78 just west of Woodsfield, ETA around 2:30-3:00.

I would estimate we will be there around 1:00.

I'll send you a PM w/my cell in case you could get there sooner?

Made it home okay, 935 on the clock thanks tom three great days of trail leading. Had a blast can't wait for SE3. It was nice to meet you Dave & Joe. Good too see Dave B. again. Bunch of fun with you, Dave & Paul. Thanks a lot.

Kevin, sorry you listened to the weather man. The weather couldn't have been better even the highly polished harleys with trailers were out two up. Turn your weather channel off.

Thanks again, Jim Staff.

Too busy having fun for sure.

You made up a great route Mark, sorry you missed it because of work.

555 is going to be great this fall after they finish paving & the locals stop dropping tires of in the corners covering the road with pee gravel.

144 is a great little road, it was my first time on that one.

I really enjoy the rolling hills & blind corners on 78 from Malta to Glouster, what a blast.

& of course you can never get enough of 556 & 536, we ran them 3 times each. :yahoo:

We had 7 in the group, Nice meeting Joe & Dave from Cleveland, when are we going again?

Hi Mark, I think scrapedup Dave took some. I left mine at home. We had a Blast. Even got the pizza guy to bring beers.
WOW...Delivery beers...that's great. :clapping:

Sounds like you guys had a great time. :yahoo:

Don't think the locals will ever stop cutting corners...just sumpin' I expect. 78 is a fun sweeper road that's for sure. I think SE OH has more up/down/left/right per mile. Other places have the left and right...but combining the up/down with it makes it unique I think.

Hopefully see you guys at the next one...

it wasnt just the rain predictions , I had to do my breakpads on my Explorer (metal on metal) so i can pass inspetion and I have a guest coming tomorrow for 3 weeks so I had to get some things ready for that. In fact I didnt even make it out today for a quicky :(

By the way I checked the the maps during the day, you guys were very lucky to miss the rain, the first storm dissipated right as it got to the western boundary of the route and the line of stong storms didnt get to you until late in the day.

Glad to hear that you had a blast, I wish i could have gone

What a weekend we had. Hey Dave, I thought that you might want to know that the palsy in my hands finally subsided around 9:00, and believe it or not, my fore arms loosened up by 11:00, so the rest of the day went just fine for me. [i won't need you to pull the clutch in for me] I'm sure that 3 times on 536 cooked what ever was left of my already tired arms. DucDave was great to ride with thru the Hocking Hills area and even went out of his way to drop me off at the Iron Ponies front door in Westerville so I wouldn't get lost.. Thanx Dave. Bein my birthday and all, I had my wifey buy me [she doesn't know it yet ] a new one piece TourMaster rain suit which I picked out, and had the kids buy me a new tank bag, [which they don't know yet either] which I also picked out, and a new chrome shield for the Shoie, [which my sons dont know they bought me yet either] wish I had a couple of more kids I could have had then buy a few more goodies for me while I was there. Anyway, the weekend could only have been better if some of the "no shows" would have been able to make it, but Hey!!!!! We still have all of July and August to do it again. Glad for the new rain gear, rode most of the way home in the rain. Absolutely a great bunch of guy's to hang out with. Thanx Again Tom!!!!!!!. Was also wonderin if you guy's hit rain on the way home. I,ll check the board tommorrow.

Dave

Just bustin your chops Kevin, I wish you and Dick could have made it. We did hit some rain all 3 days, with that being said the storm on the way back Saturday I would say was a torrential downpour. I know at least 4" of standing water on the roads in that one lil town. Without raingear it would have $ucked.

Dave we did hit on and off rain on the way home, but that was worth it just seeing it rain on the harley parades. I know that rain has to hurt without a helmet. Enjoy them new birthday gifts. Welp the sun is up, I'm off today so it's time to get the Feejer out. :yahoo:

In"F"ncredible weekend...thanks Tom, Jim, Dave, Paul, Dave & Dave. Can we do it all over again next weekend??? 536, 556, 145, 78 were the best. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Scrapedup
