This company is much better known by the name of the owner: Spencer's. The shop is noted for having a less expensive alternative to a full out custom seat, and quite a few riders find their product perfectly acceptable.

Try a Google search on the following: Spencer Seat site: FJRformu.com

You should find a wealth of info!

I had mind done. I'm not sure if it made a big difference or not though as I didn't do any long rides before I had it done. As fas as feeling the seat with my fingers, I couldn't tell much difference. I did ride from Deadwood, SD to Brillion, WI in one day on the seat, which according to yahoo maps is 860 miles I think. I thought my odometer math when I got home said about 960 though. Anyway, a few times i got kinda sore, but nothing too bad. I don't regret sending my seat to them.

Damn, Jay... cut an old guy some slack, eh?

Fat-fingered it, didn't I? :glare:

Thanks for the correction!

I got mine done by them and so far I appears to be well worth the money, not enough seat time to give it a total review yet due to about 3 foot of snow in my driveway.

My longest day ride with my Spencer'ed seat was ~400 miles and IMO it was a vast improvement over OEM.

With that said, I couldn't pass up a deal for a Bill Mayer saddle. I'm about to get underway for a few weeks, but I hope to put a few miles on it when I get back.

Frank has done mine

Love it

Get and extra 100k befor I need to take a stretch which works out to an average fuel stop

Wifes is now on the way back for her EX650R hope it does the same for her

Cost $100US for the work $60US for the shipping from Calgary AB to Florida and back

I had a Bill Mayer on my ST1100 and Franks work is more comfy
