I'm looking for the little plastic thing that lets you adjust the seat to the higher position. Let me know if you have a spare.

 
The one under the seat or at the back of the tank? If it's the tank one I am not sure just how necessary that is.

 
I am not so sure that you absolutely 'need' that piece. I have considered it a bit more of a guide than anything else. In fact it fit so crappy on the upper setting that I took it off completely and tucked it away in a storage area. I have moved two different seats from high to low on a few occasions and have not noticed its absence whatsoever.

On the upper (high) setting my seat rocks side to side without the guide

Interesting, with that info I'll have to recheck mine. Perhaps it does do something. Dumb question I know but you have moved the rear seat support to accommodate either the high or low seat height setting, correct?
