I am looking at FJR's for sale and see several Seattle area dealers have some leftover models.

I-90 Motorsports

Ride Motorsports

Adventure Motorsports

Hinshaws

Any of you guys in the area have experience buying from these dealers?

Advice appreciated before I travel ~300 miles to check them out.

John

I bought my '09 in May of 2010 from Adventure Motorsports in Monroe. Easy to deal with, have a good shop. Senior mechanic, John Edgar, knows his way around the FJR very well. Cafe on site with good coffee (to my taste) usual hanburgers, fires and others available. Tire prices and mounting are way above market from what I have seen. I either buy and take mine into the Ducati Shop in Bellevue or have them shipped direct to Bellevue Ducati when I buy from Motorcycle Superstore. Last tire mount and balance on a ride-in, ride out basis was $40.00. I don't know if they have a lower price if you bring just the wheel in.

As with any of the dealers in Seattle buy your YES policy from D& H Moto down in Georgia

I-90 and Ride have the same owner, Ride is a pleasant place to do business. Bought my last two bikes there. Call before coming up. Ride (206?) 425.487.3881

Thanks for the info. I've been seeing some good deals up there.

I'm shopping for a 2010-2012 model; Looks like 2012's are the only leftovers in that category.

Unfortunately, I talked to Cassandra at Skagit, and she only had a 2013. Thanks for the lead, Ray!
